About My Work

How it started.

My name is Monica Partida and I am a Professional Makeup artist and Ca. Licensed Esthetician. I began my freelancing makeup career in 2012. It all started by getting girls ready for their formals and proms and soon after expanded to bridal events and photo shoots. After gaining enough experience in the field, in 2017, I enrolled in lilit Caradanian's Makeup School in Sherman Oaks, Ca. and became certified in Bridal Makeup Artistry. I love to continue my education by attending yearly seminars/ workshops to stay up to date on techniques and products to give my clients the best quality of service. This year I reached my 10 year mark in the industry and i'm proud to say I've taken part in well over a hundred weddings. Over the years, I also grew a huge passion for skin and wanted to better understand skincare and skin prep for my clients so In 2022, i enrolled in Milan Institute and graduated my esthetician program in August of 2022, and received my license shortly after in October of 2022. So now I am able to offer my clients the best of both services, skincare and makeup at my studio Spa located in Downtown, Bakersfield.
